22 may 2008, a few of the media prefects went down to the canteen with our library officer to set up a booth for our students and teachers to borrow books. We went down for 1 hour, displaying our new range of library books on the canteen table and inviting people to borrow them. The booth had all the newly arrived English and Chinese books!
This move creates awareness of the new books and the wide range of books the library actually has. Several students and teachers were impressed by what the library carries, showing that not many people know about the books that we have.
The library hopes that more people would come foward more often to read. There are actually many interesting books that the Media Prefects would display on the different tables in the library, according to the theme selected. Do visit the library more often and be on the lookout for these books!
